After analyzing the demand and the minimum participation of the competition, the professionals behind Elekktrica, created in October 2014, came up with a business focused on three fundamental sectors: education, health and agriculture; which they considered the backbone of social development.
As electrical engineer, Guido Fernández Rosales, explains, the project provides the necessary procedures in the face of the deterioration of electricity supply systems and the shortage of qualified personnel in these areas, based on services such as: low voltage, photovoltaic systems, electric and automatic transport.
This also translates into professional and economical solutions, compliance with the process as planned, the use of top quality materials and fast and effective communication with customers.
Elekktrica is distinguished by values such as loyalty, honesty, responsibility, availability and, above all, teamwork. This, in addition to the research and incorporation of new technologies due to the growing demand for reliable and safe electrical supplies.
“We assume constant learning and innovation as a premise, and we have specialized designers with more than 30 years of experience. Following the authorization for private companies to import supplies, we increased the team with a logistics expert,” Fernández acknowledges.
For each client, be they from the private or state sector, Elekktrica draws up a procedure to follow, ranging from the publicity, personalized contacts, and identification of the problems, to the execution of the work, the signing of contracts and the opportune monitoring to ensure excellence and customer satisfaction.
Operating for six years, although they have satisfactorily inserted themselves into the state market, the team still faces challenges such as: the absence of a wholesale market for the acquisition of supplies and the need to expand financing possibilities with greater monetary capacity, repayment periods, and lower installments.
Nevertheless, Guido Fernández assures that the general trend in this period has been growth of around 20 percent. Even during the current pandemic, Elekktrica managed to take on a greater number of projects and optimize efficiency, with minimal impact on the production processes of the work spaces.
“We are, without a doubt, a successful organization, because we seek perfection in each of our tasks. Starting, promoting and maintaining a business in Cuba is always feasible, even if not an easy process, but achievable through dialogue, conviction and contribution to business progress,” Fernández concludes.
